How to Travel Gluten-Free: Part One

Traveling while on a gluten-free diet may seem like a daunting task for people with Celiac Disease or a Gluten-Sensitivity. But a little planning can go a long way toward having a perfectly wonderful GF vacation, regardless of being newly diagnosed or a 30-year veteran. Here are some tips to help you have a safe, cross-contamination-free trip.

First Rule of Gluten-Free Vacationing: Plan, plan, plan!

Just like the three rules of real estate (“location, location, location”), g-free travel means you must “plan, plan, plan.”

— Research Restaurants in the Area(s) You’re Visiting (and en-route)

Make a list of establishments that are food allergy friendly ahead of time. Knowing where to go at a moments notice can save you a lot of headaches on the road.

Research possible fast food, grocery and sit-down dining options. There are dozens of websites that specialize in reviews of local and chain restaurant options. A simple Google search on “gluten-free dining” plus your destination city/town will usually return numerous options.

Purchase a GF dining app for your mobile device. (Best if you’re going to more populated areas)

There are numerous apps out there that have customer entered restaurants. They often list, categorize and review GF options based on searchable maps.

Research (read reviews of those who have used it) before purchasing an app. There are new ones popping up all the time and some better than others. Several are worth the effort/money, but there are many that are not yet populated with useful information (especially in less urban areas).

— Stay Somewhere with a Kitchen —

Nightly Rental Options

There are plenty of places that rent by the night that offer kitchen options:

• Larger hotels often offer suites
• Extended stay hotel/motels

Think Outside the Box
When going for a longer stay (1 week or more) try renting a vacation house or condo. They’ll have full kitchens and afford you an easier stay. There are numerous vacation rental websites on wherein you can browse by amenities, such as kitchens and food delivery.

— Pre-Plan and List Your Meals —

If you’re not going to eat out, coming up with a meal plan will help you know what to pack. While deciding your meals ahead of time may take away some of the spontaneity normally associated with being on vacation, it also takes out the “what’s for gluten-free dinner” anxiety. Pre-planning and preparing your own meals allows you to enjoy a happy, relaxed, symptom-free vacation.

Choose meals with which you’re familiar
You don’t need to get fancy with your meals… you’re on vacation! So choose some tried and true, easy to prepare meals so you won’t stress.

Choose single pot or microwave meals for easy preparation. The quicker you cook, the faster you can get back to your vacation!

— Travel with Dining Cards —

Dining cards (small pocket cards that you can hand servers to inform them of your food requirements) are a great travel tool. Especially if you’re traveling to a foreign country and aren’t fluent in that language. There are many great dining cards available online. Some are free for you to print at home, others can be purchased and sent to you. When traveling abroad, consider purchasing a set of cards in that language. They’ll be professionally translated, more complete and sturdier.

How to Travel for Free by Leading or Promoting Tours

Whether you’re 16 or 60, you CAN travel just about anywhere in the world for free — and even with a nice stash of cash in your pocket — by telling like-minded people about a trip and convincing them to go with you. Get 5 to 20 to book the same trip, and your trip is free.

If you have a burning desire to see the Pyramids… or go on an African Safari… or snorkel the Great Barrier Reef of the South Pacific… and don’t have the cash, don’t worry.

There’s a good chance that you can travel for free to just about anywhere in the world your heart desires just by locating a group of like-minded folks and convincing them to go with you.

And if you are really good at convincing a lot of fellow travelers to join you — and have chosen the right travel company — you could also earn up to $10,000 a trip for your efforts.

Not bad for doing something you passionately enjoy doing, and meeting a whole bunch of people who enjoy the same kind of traveling you do.

There are dozens upon dozens of travel companies who are actively seeking individuals to help them organize tours — or promote existing ones.

Age is no consideration. Whether you are 16 or 70, there is a tour or tour group that is bound to suit your travel interests.

Teachers are actively courted to promote tours to their students… and even given handsome cash stipends to boot.

High school and college students are sought to promote grad trips and spring break trips to their friends and classmates. Besides free trips and “rock star” treatment, successful promoters can often earn as much as $10,000 per spring break.

Ministers and church members are rewarded for telling church members about pilgrimages and trips to the holy land. With as much as $10,000 to be made per trip, booking and leading tours is a wonderful way to raise cash for a church building fund… or augmenting a minister’s meager salary.

Scuba divers can get a free trip by organizing a scuba dive trip and promoting it to their fellow divers.

Lovers of the oriental culture can get free trips to Japan or China, while connecting with a whole new group of friends and earning enough cash to dine well and bring back lovely souvenirs.

Travel companies will often pay cash when you produce more reservations than the minimum required to earn a free trip.

The number of paid trips it takes to get a free one varies from travel company to travel company.

Some require as few as 5. Others as many as 15 or 20.

Many companies will reward you with multiple trips.

Most will also offer a commission which gets bigger the more trips you sell.

It doesn’t take any experience to get started — and most travel companies supply you with lots of marketing materials and support.

The degree of involvement in planning and promoting a trip varies considerably.

For example, promoting a trip for a spring break can often be done quite casually. Some spring break travel companies will even send a representative to your campus to put on a meeting. A few phone calls to friends. Some posters placed around the campus. An ad in the school newspaper. And voila, you could easily have 15 or 20 people signed in no time. Some companies don’t even require that you collect the deposits. And most will do the follow through in collecting the balance of the trip fee.

The more aggressively you promote, the more trips and money you’ll earn.

According to some travel companies, it is not uncommon for a very aggressive promoter to walk away with a free trip AND a very sizeable amount of cash.

Some travel firms say their top producers earn as much as $10,000 a trip.

There is no limit to where or how you can advertise a trip to the general public. The more widely you advertise your tour or pilgrimage, the more trips you’ll book and the more cash you’ll make.

To maximize your chances for success, it is advisable to announce and begin promoting your trip at least a year in advance of your departure date, so that you have plenty of time to reach enough people — and to enable your prospects sufficient time to raise fund and schedule the trip.

If you are already affiliated with a particular group such as a school, a church, or a club, it makes promoting a trip all the easier as you already have easy channels of communication in place. Writing letters or emails, making phone calls, announcements at meetings or services, announcements in bulletins, etc.

If you are interested in making as much money as possible in addition to a free trip — either for yourself or as a fundraiser, you might want to look at other ways of reaching a wider audience.

Press releases to newspapers and other media.
Posters and flyers posted on community and church bulletin boards.
Small ads taken out in newspapers and appropriate magazines.
Posting in special interest forums on the Internet
Holding public meetings and seminars.

Organizing a trip gives you rewards way beyond the trip and the money. In the process of organizing a trip, you will also come into contact with many like-minded people you might never meet otherwise … resulting in friendships that last a lifetime.

For many, the best part of actively organizing and promoting a trip is meeting new people who have at least some common interests.

Because you are the group leader, you are in a unique position to have already “broken the ice”… so that when it comes time to embark on your cruise or tour, you will often be on a first name basis with everyone. This feeling of camaraderie with a large number of fellow tourists can contribute immeasurably to the success of the trip — and can often lead to lifelong friendships.

So don’t put off traveling just because you don’t have the cash.

Look through the resources below for a travel company that suits you. Then get in touch with them, set a date and a destination. And start making plans to take the trip of your lifetime… by helping others do the same.

Choosing the Right All Inclusive Travel Deals

People travel for numerous reasons. Either they serve a professional purpose or they are searching for places in which they can just relax and have fun. For that, they are always in the lookout for things that would make their travel experiences worthwhile. This is why convenience and budget are very much considered by any type of traveller. Luckily, there are now all inclusive travel deals being offered both online and offline. These are deals that you can check out when you are looking for service providers who can book and reserve an entire trip for you. But why should you really want all inclusive travel deals?

One reason you should choose all inclusive travel deals is that they cut your expenses by a really wide margin. Definitely, the “all inclusive” phrase refers a lot to the amount of money you have to spend for your travels. Especially if you are travelling to a foreign land, you can expect to be charged with exorbitant fees and humongous bills. Local travels are just as expensive. Therefore, what you should look for are travel arrangements that will provide everything you need for the entire trip-fare, hotel, food, and local tripping among others.

In this case, you need a travel agent who can make arrangements for your trip. If you consider it closely, you would find that the deals your agent offers are priced cheaper than when you spend on separate arrangements on your own. For example, a package of both the fare and the accommodations is a lot cheaper than if you buy a plane ticket and book a hotel separately. This may be brought by the fact that travel agencies have ties with other service providers. But surely, they can get arrangements done fast and cheap.

Another reason you can have for choosing all inclusive travel deals is that you need not to worry about making separate arrangements to cover for everything that you will need for your trip. This goes very much like the first reason except that you refer more to the effort of arranging a trip than to the amount you will be spending. Truly, all inclusive travel deals lessen your TTDs (things-to-do) when planning a trip.

Almost all travel agencies are reliable in this particular task. They enable you to come out with a scheduled flight, full hotel accommodation, and even a complete local itinerary before you even fly out to your destination. When you try to arrange for everything individually, you will have difficulties because service providers like airlines and hotels are not easily contacted. Further, you cannot book the trip on your preferred customized schedule-and this is very possible with the help of travel agents.

Finally, if you are asking why you choose all inclusive travel deals, then you should understand that these arrangements would help you go to more places than you originally plan to be in. Well, if you consider how much time and money you are saving from one trip to another when you choose all inclusive travel deals, then you would know this last reason is very valid. After two or three trips, you would be surprised to know that you have saved a good enough sum for yet another travel.

This is a perk of all inclusive travel deals that many people like because everyone loves a good travel experience. It broadens your mind and exposes you to different societies. Therefore, you need to choose travel deals that would help you plan more than a couple of travels without requiring you to pay for huge amounts.

Ultimately, all inclusive travel deals are not only part of a bandwagon now. True, people are becoming more familiar with arranging travels especially those bound for other countries. This may be caused by the ever-encompassing Internet that allows for online arrangements of everything that you might need for a better travel experience. But at the end of the day, if you are really after the affordability and convenience of a trip, then going for all inclusive deals is the best decision to make. Just choose the right kind of travel deal and you are off to that escapade you have always dreamed of.

How to Fly For Free – A Legitimate Way to Grab That Free Plane Ticket

Getting a free airplane ticket is not impossible. There are numerous ways of getting a free flight, such as collecting air miles points on a frequent flyer program. However as with collecting air miles points, it takes a lot of time to accumulate enough points to redeem that free ticket. Therefore most people lose patience when trying to find that free airplane ticket. That being said, there is a legitimate method to get a free flight almost instantly that many people overlook. That method is the travel as a courier method.

The travel as a courier method is simply representing an airline company to help them personally courier items for them to specified destinations. As compensation for being a courier for them, they will award you with the free flight to the destination (as long as you follow the rules and deliver as per the instructions).

One way to look for companies wanting couriers is to search the internet for websites that provide a middle man service that pairs companies with people willing to be their couriers. Usually these websites will ask you a series of questions, such as where and when you want to fly, so that they can find companies that offer courier opportunities that best match your travel criteria.

That being said, if you choose to be a courier, you must take note that you have to be flexible with your time, as sometimes the travel opportunities are limited, and may not match exactly to your requirements. Therefore to increase the chances of being selected, it is best to be open on your dates so that you can take whatever opportunity that comes along.

Another thing you need to be aware of is that the destination that you are required to go may not exactly match to your intended destination. It may be within the same region, in the same country, or in another city that is a close proximity to where you intend to go. So if you plan on going to your intended destination after your courier mission has finished, you may need to take a connecting transport out.

Lastly you must be prepared to travel light, as most cases these travel as courier programs only allow you to bring carryon baggage onto the flight. Therefore you must select carefully to where you want to go, and judge carefully on how many clothes and other random things you would need to bring on your intended trip.

The travel as a courier method is a very legitimate way to fly for free. Not many people know about this method, so therefore competition is low, but the demand for couriers is high. If you do intend to use this method, the key is to ensure you do your homework thoroughly by researching carefully the various companies offering these courier opportunities.

Frequent Flyer Miles – How to Travel For Free

One of the best things available in this recessive economy for people that like to travel our frequent flyer miles. This allows you to go anyplace in the world on the airline’s dime because you were able to save up enough flyer miles or flyer points to go wherever you want. Here are few tips on how you can generate more flyer miles to take you where you want to go.

I remember the first time that I actually took a trip using frequent flier miles. I had actually charged several thousand dollars in payments on a credit card. This allowed me to jumpstart the process. Later on, I took a few trips and by combining these points with the others, I was able to fly for free to the destination of my choice.

There is a secret that you need to know if you are ever going to do this on a regular basis. Most people simply charge their plane tickets on a credit card that has flyer points and accrue them this way. There is another way that you can generate several plane tickets a year by doing just a few simple things.

If you have a job and consistently work, this technique is best suited for you. It has to do with you paying your bills on time and on a continual basis. By using your credit card, you can actually generate tens of thousands of flyer points just by making payments to a variety of retailers.

You must remember that many businesses are not inclined to receive payments from a credit card. You must pay your bills only to those that will accept this type of reoccurring payment. By doing so, every time you make a bill payment, you will accrue more points.

At the end of the year, you and your family may be able to take a free vacation all because you did your due diligence and paid your bills on time. By doing this, you are not only maintaining your credit but also increasing your ability to spend time with your family in exotic places that you may never have seen unless you used this method.

Can You Really Travel for FREE?

There are very important reasons why the Travel Industry is looking for reliable Travel Coordinators. One of the major reasons is ‘International Travel Safety’ has become a major concern.

The Travel Industry has long since provided a way to help Americans Travel more safely. Again, this is an ancient old method of travel. Even the wagon trains traveling west were not exempt from this method.

Group Travel

Agencies are looking for Travel Addicts; I mean Coordinators all the time. I guess you are wondering why a Travel Agency would be looking for Travel Coordinators? Most people would say that would be the job of a Travel Agent. Wrong! Most Travel Agents do not travel that often. They are busy booking travel for their clients. They loose money every time they leave their office or computer. Its the Travel Coordinators that travel often.

Travel addicts are the people who arrange their life to accommodate last minute travel. Travel addicts usually will pay the rent or mortgage, however the 401K or any savings or investment of any kind is subject to finance travel at any given time.

A Group Travel Coordinator would have the following attributes: commitment, loves travel, likes people, have confidence in marketing themselves and their travel destination, can give attention to detail, love to coordinate, and can use common sense, then you qualify to Travel FREE.

This opportunity works out best when you start out as a hobby and turn it into a part-time job then a full-time business. It is not necessary to re-invent the wheel – do what others have done before you. I know one retired man who started out selling an exotic travel party in the Caribbean each year. Word of mouth took over, because people really enjoyed themselves, and now he does not have to work a 9 to 5 job. The commission from booking 300 to 500 people a year into a 5 star resort on the islands each year, pays off BIG.

I suppose you are wondering how a Travel Coordinator just starting out travels FREE? Easy, when you book 6 people or 15 people or what ever number the Travel whole seller sets; one person goes FREE.

Example: Say you have 9 people that want to go to China. You have a mark-up of 15% on the wholesale price, plus you get one free hotel and air if 6 people sign-up. Your mother and father, sister and cousin, your girlfriend and her husband want to go and the lady at the church wants to go. And when another lady at the church found out from the Pastor that Mrs. J was going, so she decided to go. (Your husband said if he wants to see China he will go to Chinatown!) So you now have 8 people, 9 counting yourself. You get one free travel pass and you can decided to lower your package price at the last minute because you did not need the extra 15% mark-up, or you can keep it for any emergency during the trip or you can use it to market your next trip. It’s up to you!

Travel Coordinator Trivia. If you can see a problem already with the above travel group, then you truly understand Group Travel. Think about how you would handle the above situation BEFORE a problem occurs.

You love traveling, wish to spend an unforgettable holiday, but do not have enough money? In this article are provided tips, how to arrange your journey the way that allows you to explore the most interesting places and on the other hand – spare the money.

1. House exchange

Thanks to this solution you can travel all over the world. There are many Internet sites that mediate in house exchange, like: “”, “”, where you can easily find people willing to switch their house with yours for holiday. It is highly recommended especially for big families.

2. Free accommodation

3. Job for accommodation

This solution is preferred by students, because it is good way to earn money while traveling. But you should remember that this type of activity is usually exhausting and limited only to countrysides where are located companies offering seasonal job. And there will not be a lot of time for exploring the country…

4. Tent

Universal and still popular among the globetrotters in the whole world. It gives you full mobility, allows to spare a lot of money and ensures that no matter what happens during your journey, you will not be homeless. Sleeping in the tent is also a great chance to meet (on some campsite) other travelers and make friends. It is always good to firstly gain some information about the rules prevailing in the country you wish to visit. For instance, in Sweden obtains so called “everybody right” (Allemansratten) that allows tourists to install the tent for one day anywhere, for free.

5. Hitch-hiking

Easy and often funny way to travel for free. Still, choosing it you should consider, if in the country you want to explore it is common that the drivers take the passengers. For instance in: Italy, Greece, Hungary, Romania, Portugal, ex-Yugoslavian countries or in Asia you can travel freely. But in France, Germany or Austria – forget it. Remember also not to hitch-hike alone. It is safer to travel at least in pair. The best option for hitch-hikers is to travel with the truck drivers. They always have CB-radio access so can easily arrange you another car that goes to your destination.

6. Free sightseeing days

Every well known museum has its own special days, free of charge for exploring. If you plan your journey carefully, check all the opportunities on the Internet before, you can use those occasions and arrange wonderful, cultural trip – absolutely for free.

7. Cheap flights

Today it is probably the most popular form of traveling. You just need to check the offers systematically (they are changing all the time) and hunt the most appropriate and gainful for you (Internet – again). Thanks to low-cost airlines you can travel to many countries in Europe, Africa or Asia and spare money needed for the entertainment.

8. Free-food points

Many large cities, especially during the festivals or other celebrations provide the special points with free dining for the participants. Those stations are usually organized by religious groups (like Hare Krishna believers). The food is delicious!

9. Voluntary

Recommended solution mainly for the open-mind students (because this type of journey takes minimum 2-3 months), willing to confront with completely different culture and make something good, not just watch sights. Currently there are many organizations recruiting the volunteers to work in faraway, undeveloped countries. Main goal of this type of travel is help, in every single way: teaching the children, building schools, hospitals and houses, gardening, implementation of water reticulation and much, much more. For everybody who chooses this option it will be surely an unforgettable, precious experience that lets to get close to local community, live like those people do and re-arrange the own value system.

10. Roadshow tours

If you are willing to see many interesting places in a short time, this is for you. It is not as exhausting as the other options provided in this article. For instance, railways in most of countries in Europe provide special tickets for one week trip to all of the most important European capitals. Discounts for students are usually available.

Cheapest Airline Tickets – How to Find Best Travel Deals

So you are in the market for cheap airline tickets, but not sure where to start and how to find the best travel deals. The reality is that in order to find the cheapest flight fares and schedules you need to know when and where to look and how to search. Yes, it is that easy, and all you need to know is several tricks. First of all, do you need a domestic or an international travel ticket?

Domestic Air Travel

These can be US domestic flight or flights within Europe, or within any country or other continent. If you are looking great flight deals, you need to know WHERE to look for low airfares. If you are looking for flights within the US, you may contact local US airlines or travel agencies or look up flights on the online travel search engine.

Airlines compete among each other and they can give great flight deals (just know WHEN to look). Travel agencies might also find you great deals. Here is the truth… lately several airlines and several large and well known travel agencies started having some issues and several airline banned those huge agencies from selling their airline tickets. Therefore, small and specialized agencies still do have very good contracts with major airlines of the world. So, my advise is to look who has the best flight deal, not at the size of the agency or the popularity. At the end of the day, it matters how much you pay for the ticket and that you have a confirmed seat.

Most smaller travel agencies have online only booking so they can save YOU money by eliminating staff salaries. Most of the time travel agencies use the same fares as airlines offer (unless negotiated better rates), but usually with 0 commission. Since agencies need to survive, they are forced to add a small service fee on the top of the ticket price. If you do not mind that, call your travel agent or best of all go online and check flights yourself. If you are traveling within Europe, you might want to contact a travel agent or search online travel agents’ websites first. In Europe local travel agencies and agencies outside Europe that specialize in international travel will have low fares because they use very low so called consolidator fares. This is nothing else, but negotiated contracts with airlines to sell special very low priced airline tickets.

International Travel

Whether you live in the US or other country, you travel internationally if you leave your country of residence.

What concerns transatlantic, transpacific or other between countries international travel, your best bet is a travel agency. The consolidators will offer you the best fare deals and will find you the best schedules. Depending on personal preferences, some might prefer talking to a travel agent, while others would want to do their own fare search online at their own pace. There is no right or wrong choice here. As long as you find a flight and a fare that works for you, you succeed. HOW to find a travel agency or a good travel website Always work with the travel agent or travel website that specializes in your travel destination or region. For example, if you need to fly from the US to Europe, search for ‘flights to Europe’ or so. Usually online search will give you best results. Check several websites or call several travel agents and compare the deals.

NOTE, you might know lots of huge agencies like Travelocity, Orbitz, etc. They might seem attractive to you because they are big and well known. But they will not always give you the best flight, hotel or cruise deals. They might be good for US domestic travel, but not always for international travel.

HOW and WHEN to search for best fares

Where you need a flight, hotel or a cruise, you need to know how to find the best fares and when to look for those. Let’s say that you found a travel agent or travel website that specialized in your travel destination.

5 tips on How to Find your Best Travel Deal:

Be Flexible. In order to find lowest price, you might need to be flexible on travel dates, arrival/departure times, airlines, and sometimes destinations. In short, there are different price levels for every flight and the only difference is the price and number of seats an airline assigns to that price level. Therefore, all depends on when you buy a ticket, how popular is the destination, travel season (peak or low), and how full the flight gets.
Book domestic travel tickets as early as you can (this applied to some international travel as well). Most domestic airlines have best fares with 21, 14, and 7 day advance purchase. This means that you may find lower fares when booking (= purchasing) a flight this many days before the flight.
‘Play’ with the search. This means that you need to be creative when searching for flights. Check flights couple days or weeks (if possible) earlier and later, check various airlines, different connections (an airline might have several hubs or fly with 1 or several connections), search based on price and try searching based on schedule (you’ll see different results).
Check travel package deals. If the purpose of your travel is vacation, instead of booking flights, hotel, and car rental separately, check on travel package rates. Sometimes your total package rate is lower that if you book everything separately.
Use miles or points when possible. Apply for airline/ hotel/ car rental, etc. frequent traveler programs. They are FREE, and you can get lots of benefits. For example, I cannot remember the last time I paid for a hotel room when Hilton Hotel is in my destination. Check out website. Go to the airline, car rental, or hotel websites and sign up. The only disadvantage of using miles and points is that you need to book your travel early as there is limited number of seats for miles or points on the plane and they go fast.

If you cannot decide whether to use an airline or a travel agent, here are some suggestions.

Advantages of booking a ticket with an airline:

you are talking directly to the carrier, the entity responsible for a flight
it may take much less time to deal with the airline directly (if an agent knows his/her job)
airline customers representatives are usually open 24/7

Advantages of using travel agents or travel websites:

lower negotiated (consolidator) fares
more flight options; travel agents/travel websites search all possible airlines, not just one
low fares available 24/7 given that an agency has a online booking system

Another friend is going on a 7 day, Transatlantic journey from New York to England for $499 on one of the newest, most beautiful cruise ships afloat, the Queen Mary 2.

The Dominican Republic is especially keen on stimulating tourism. Recent promotions included a three day stay at the Sunset Beach resort at La Conesta, all inclusive for free. And a 7 day vacation at the exclusive Johnathan Shores Golf resort for only $55/night, all inclusive, was also available!

How do you qualify to be invited to travel for free?

You must have the proper travel credentials to travel for free. There are three main travel credentials. The IATA card, is the easiest to obtain and is the one we will zero in on.

You get to use the IATA number of your host travel agency if you are home based. This credential will qualify you for 60-70% of the FAM trips

It will also qualify you for the perks showered on travel professionals on the road.

Airlines don’t discount their fares. They will give you a free upgrade to business class or even to first class for the price of a coach seat, subject to availability. That can be worth more than $10,000, particularly on a foreign trip!

Hotels, too will do their part in making you feel like royalty when you visit. Often, they will upgrade you to a suite for the price of a regular room!

Hertz, Avis etc are not to be left out. Recently, a friend of mine was given a Hummer at the same price as a Jeep!

What is required to become a credentialed, home based travel agent?

You have to find a host agency that will sign you on as an independent contractor.

Some agencies will accept you with no experience, some will not. Commission rates vary from 60-80% of the commissions paid to the agency.

Most host agencies require their agents to actually work with the clients, one on one, following the now antiquated client/agent model.

This requires computer skills, time and expertise on the part of the agent. Also, most clients now prefer the control and freedom afforded them when they use Internet based travel services such as Expedia, Orbitz and Travelocity.

The new, purely Internet based travel agent merely markets his own, Expedia-like travel site to potential clients who book their own travel.

The agent makes money while he sleeps, works his day job, or even while he travels for free!

Many Internet based agencies are sold as franchises. American Express sells theirs for $10,000. Magic Johnson, of NBA fame, has just rolled out one for $5,000.

Another lesser known entry is YTB, or Your Travel Biz, which is the fastest growing company in the field, with over 135, 000 independent agents.
